What is your passion?
The most important step in deciding what project you are going to propose to your Council for your Girl Scout Gold Award is knowing what gets your juices flowing – that’s the passion for your project.
This week we will focus on YOU and find out what speaks to your interests.
What would you do if you had a whole weekend without plans?
Do you like to read/watch movies? (replace read/watch movies with whatever activity YOU like)

about reading/watching movies makes it enjoyable?
- Do you like to immerse yourself in a different world, learn about different people or cultures, learn new activities, spiritual growth, fantasy?
- What
format do you like to read/watch movies?
- Reading – Hard cover books, soft cover books, e-books, newspapers, magazines, audio books?
- Movies – Streaming, big screen TV, tablet / phone, whatever is on TV, movie theater, DVD/Blue-Ray?
- How
do you share what you read/watch?
- Do you tell others, are you in a book/movie club, do you share on social media?
What activity always makes you happy?
Do you like sports/robotics/crafts? (replace sports/robotics/crafts with whatever activity YOU like)
- Do you like your activity as a team or with more of an individual focus?
- Do you like being outside or inside more?
- Do you enjoy teaching others how to participate in your activity or would you prefer participation only?
- Is your activity movement focused or more sedentary?
- What about your activity do you enjoy most?
- How did you learn your activity?

Do you journal/pray/perform a self care routine? (replace journal/pray/self care with what YOU do)

- How do you feel this improves your life?
- Do you share with others or is this a personal activity for you?
- What do you wish others knew about your daily activity?
- Do others in your family have a similar daily routine?
What is your favorite community service activity?
- What community service activities have you done before? What did you enjoy about them, what would you change?
- Have any of your school or other groups you are in done service work? How were those projects different than your Girl Scout projects?
- Do you enjoy projects where you work with groups or do you like to work more individually and share the outcome?
- What part of the planning process do you enjoy / do you prefer to avoid?
- What are some of you favorite stories from projects you have done?
- What part of the outcomes make you the most happy?
